Sewing Alterations and Repairs
It's an incredible feeling for brides to see their "final" dress; however, this doesn't usually happen immediately. Even when selling "ready-to-wear" items and allowing you to take the dress home right away, making the purchase faster and simpler, alterations are almost always necessary to ensure a perfect fit and adjustment to your measurements.
For this, we work with experienced seamstresses and visualize your perfect dress with you.
Examples of alterations: reducing or increasing size, hemming, bust adjustments, adding straps, sleeves, replacing parts, etc.
The price of alterations is assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not included in the dress's sale price.
If you have a dress purchased elsewhere, we can make alterations, subject to availability, as we prioritize Bridal Stories brides.
If you already have your Bridal Stories dress, you can schedule your fittings directly with the team.

Design & Upcycling
Design Service – Dresses and Accessories
Our design service is in partnership with bridal gown designer Rita Álvares Pereira.
This is designed to meet all the requests of the most creative brides.
It's not always possible for a dress to have everything a bride imagined, but the magic of fashion design and sewing is precisely that: creating pieces or accessories to complement your look.
This service is for those who want to create pieces from scratch:
be it a dress, an additional piece such as a cape, veil, coat, accessories, etc.
Upcycling Service – Transforming an old item
The upcycling service involves updating or completely transforming a dress or garment.
You can change just a few things to make it more modern, or transform it into one or more new pieces.
This process may or may not need to be complemented with design services depending on the project.

Consignment sales service
Do you want to sell your dress through our showroom?
We are looking for dresses and accessories in very good condition from the last 5 years, whether used or new.
How does it work?
Submit your item for online pre-evaluation on our website.
All items submitted for sale in the showroom are subject to prior curation through an online pre-evaluation and a free in-person evaluation and quality control.
We don't buy your item, but we help you sell it as intermediaries.
After the sale, your commission is 50%.
If approved, a contract is signed and a service fee is paid, which will be entirely dedicated to the storage, maintenance, and promotion of your dress online and in person.
Consignment sales service: 6 to 12 months – from €50 to €95
