Alterations and Tailoring Services
It's an incredible feeling for brides to see the "final" dress, however, this doesn't happen immediately most of the time. Even though it's possible to take the dress home straight away at Bridal Stories, providing a faster and more straightforward purchase, most wedding dresses are not "ready to wear". 90% of the time it's necessary to make tailoring alterations so that it fits you perfectly, provides adequate support, and is adjusted to your measurements.
For this, we work together with experienced seamstresses and visualize your perfect dress with you.
Examples of alterations: reducing or increasing size, hems, bust adjustments, adding straps, sleeves, replacing pieces, etc.
The price of alterations is assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not included in the dress sale price.
If you have a dress purchased elsewhere we can make alterations (from €150), subject to prior assessment and availability, as we give priority to Bridal Stories brides. Please note that we only specialize in wedding dresses.
If you already have your Bridal Stories dress you can book your fittings directly with the team.

Design & Upcycling
Our in-house design service is for accessories.
This service is for those who want to recreate a piece or create pieces from scratch:
an additional piece such as a cape, veil, jacket, accessories, etc.
Upcycling Service – Transforming a Vintage Piece
The upcycling service involves updating or completely transforming a dress or piece, and depending on the complexity of the project, can be done in partnership with bridal fashion designers.
This service responds to all requests from the most creative brides.
You can change just a few things to make the dress more current, or transform it into one or more new pieces. This process may or may not need to be complemented with design services depending on the project. It's not always possible for a dress to have everything a bride imagined, but the magic of fashion design and tailoring is precisely that: customization.

We Sell the Dress for You
Want to sell your dress through our showroom?
We are looking for dresses and accessories in very good condition, whether used or new for consignment sale.
How does it work?
Submit your item for online pre-assessment on our website on the Sell page.
All items submitted for sale in the showroom are subject to prior curation through a free online pre-assessment and an in-person assessment and quality control.
We are intermediaries in the sale, that is, we don't buy your item, but we help you sell it in our physical space. After the sale, your commission is 50%.
If approved, a contract is signed and a fee is paid for the service which will be entirely dedicated to storage, maintenance, sales and appointment management, as well as promotion of your dress online and in person including photographs.
Consignment sale service: 12 months – €95 *

Rental for Photo Shoots
Looking to rent a dress for a photo or video shoot?
We rent our items to professionals in the entertainment, film, photography and video industry and participate in editorials with selected partners. We have a selection of dresses from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
