We create purposeful connections: on one hand, we help brides who want to make other brides happy, who seek to pass on their testimony from bride to bride, letting go of their dress.

At the same time, we help people find their perfect wedding dress by providing a personalized service and carefully selected dresses.

One dress, many stories!

What does the consignment service include?

Does Bridal Stories buy dresses?

We know that selling online isn't always easy. That's why at Bridal Stories we give you the opportunity to sell your item in person, through a consignment service.

This means we don't buy dresses directly.

The item is sold through us, with Bridal Stories acting as an intermediary in the sale, receiving a 50% commission.

Why don't we buy dresses directly? This way we can offer your item more value, because if we bought it directly we wouldn't be able to offer the same price.

Do you have a beautiful dress in good condition?

– Gain more space in your closet

– We promote your dress

– We handle all fittings and appointments

– And above all, we sell the dress for you!

Submit your dress for a free pre-evaluation using our form and we'll take care of everything!

As a rule, in our showroom we only accept dresses from the last 5 years. Keep in mind that a good quality, second-hand dress in good condition can be sold for an average of 50% of its original price.

Before submitting, please read all our terms and conditions here:

Still

have doubts?

1What is consignment selling?

At Bridal Stories, you can sell your item on consignment in our showroom through us. This means that we do not purchase items directly.

The item is sold on consignment, meaning that Bridal Stories acts as an intermediary in the sale. The service includes storage, maintenance, and promotion of the dress for up to one year.

2What can I sell in the showroom?

This platform was developed to specialize in the sale of second-hand wedding dresses. In our showroom, we also accept the sale of accessories.

3What is the curation and evaluation process?

To select an offer, we pay attention to the condition, age, finishes, style, brand, market value, and likelihood of resale.

All items submitted for sale in the showroom are subject to a prior curation process through an online pre-evaluation, submission of a sales price proposal, and subsequently, an in-person evaluation.

If approved, we sign a consignment sales contract, and a service fee is charged.

4How long until I can sell my dress?
The time it takes for a dress to be sold depends heavily on demand at any given time. This can include factors such as trends, styles, size, finishes, price, and the dress's current condition. The consignment period itself, meaning the time the dress remains here, can vary between 6 and 12 months.
5How much could my dress be worth?

You can obtain a sale price estimate through our simulator on our platform; however, it is only indicative and does not represent a detailed analysis.

The on-site evaluation takes into account the condition, age, finishes, style, market value, and probability of sale. Once sold, our commission is 50%.

See our “Pricing Table and Curation System”.

6Do you do cleaning or repairs?

We only consign items ready for delivery when they arrive at the showroom.

To ensure a fair and accurate assessment for both parties, and to properly value the items, they must be delivered without defects, recently professionally cleaned, and ironed/steamed before the assessment to show the item in its best condition.

Any interventions necessary to ensure the item is sold in its best condition will be quoted and communicated before consignment; this is an additional service subject to a separate quote.
