Based on our experience and the expectations of the brides who contact us, we have developed a valuation table and a curation system that evaluates items in the second-hand and outlet markets.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

How much is my item worth?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

You can get an estimated sale price through our simulator<\/strong>, however, it is only indicative and does not represent a detailed analysis. It considers the year of purchase, purchase price, and condition of the dress.<\/p>\r\n

Valuation for sale at the showroom takes more factors into account and is more thorough: condition, age, finishes, style, commercial value, and probability of sale and demand.<\/p>\r\n

Curatorship and Evaluation System<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

\u2013 Evaluation standards are treated objectively,<\/b> so check the valuation table of your item below.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 For in-person sales at the showroom, the final sale price is determined after the item is evaluated in person.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 Valuation considers:<\/b> condition, age, finishes, style, brand, commercial value, and probability of sale.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 For in-person sales at the showroom, any flaws will be documented in the consignment contract<\/strong> and in the item description provided. If you are unsure whether an item will be accepted, submit it via the form so we can provide a pre-evaluation by email.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 During the consignment period at the showroom, the value may be reviewed and adjusted by agreement between the parties to facilitate the sale. Negotiations should be conducted via email or WhatsApp.<\/p>\r\n

The item is in good condition without major damage, but it does not look new and has been well cared for.<\/p>\r\n

Based on our experience, a vintage dress in good condition may sell for 50% to 70% of its original price depending on post- or pre-sale alteration possibilities, finishes, and commercial potential.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

Category U: Donate for Upcycling \/ With Defects<\/b><\/h4>\r\n

Do you prefer to donate your dress and give it a second life?<\/p>\r\n

Is your item very old or not in condition to sell, but the material can still be used?<\/p>\r\n

Don’t want to invest in repairs but think it can be reused?<\/p>\r\n

Items with defects are unsellable for various reasons such as large stains, tears, permanent creases, frayed or fragile fabrics, yellowing, missing parts, etc., and may go for upcycling.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

No monetary compensation is provided; these items are considered donations to the project for material reuse and transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

These items require several hours of work to be repurposed by us or partners such as designers and seamstresses. They will be transformed into new dresses, separate pieces, or other items to prevent textile waste from ending up in landfills or incineration, which is the main fate of textile waste in Portugal.<\/p>\r\n
